WoW Proper Leveling-Specced Rogue

Guide to Rogue-ing Successfully

So you think you can be a rogue?
The initial thing to know about a rogue is why they exist. The most key reason is crowd control, and of course, DPS. Rogues can dole out some massive DPS, especially with new rogue talents brought concerning by the expansion such as Mutilate. At MMOEdge, we will be speccing Mutilate (currently 41/0/10) when we reach 60 because of its grinding/PvE utility and potential for damage, and its more recently exposed ability to dominate in PvP. We can't tell you accurately what or how to build your rogue, but we can inform you of certain builds and their proficiencies, as well as how to play a rogue.

Basics
First, we'll cover the fundamentals of being a rogue even before even discussing race choices so you will know whether you truly want to be a rogue or not. Being a rogue, your most precious tool is and always will be stealth. Not Sinister Strike, not Backstab, and surely not Expose Armor (expose armor is not actually a candidate for most valuable, it is an example of the most horrible of a rogue's skills). The simple truth of being invisible is that, as long as you're invisible, you are fundamentally invincible. You can still take AoE damage and any damage including DoTs but if no one has seen you yet, they cannot harm you (with the exception of AoE which will affect you if you are within the range of the character that conjures it). Hunters will only place a trap after they have seen you (this excludes a hunter who has located a freezing trap anywhere near a flag or base to protect it). The second most valuable tool a rogue can use is his/her stuns. A stun, by definition, is to deprive of awareness or strength by or as if by a blow, fall, etc. This means that a stun will knock your opponent 'unconscious' for a short period of time. several stuns last longer than others. To wit, Gouge lasts 4 sec and 5.5 sec with the Improved Gouge talent; whereas Sap lasts 10 sec on players and 30+ sec on NPCs. Similarly, stuns work differently too. For model, cheap shot and kidney shot can stun a player and still allow that player to take damage, but when a player is stunned with gouge, blind, or sap, any damage applied to that aim will break the stun. Using stuns and stealth, a rogue is a strong assassin on and off the battlefield.

Being a rogue is not all sneaking throughout the night stalking your prey. Rogues do die and not all of them die in the spectacular take-everyone-with-you way they might contain tried for. Rogues will also die more often if they are not careful, because rogues can wear just leather armor, which is just a small step up from cloth armor. Finally, rogues can be kited like most other characters so it is of the utmost to remain on your guard more than anyone else you may be facing.

Talent Builds
There are a a small number of talent builds out there for a rogue and all of them have their unique uses on the battlefield. The best for PvE is probably Combat; although, Mutilate has given away quite a bit of promise in this area. The Combat build is oriented to sustainable damage with small bursts in between (eviscerate). The Combat build is centered on Adrenaline Rush and looks something like 20/31/0. There is also the Preparation build which involve whole stun locks and insane burst damage. It is known as 21/8/22. And finally the Seal Fate build which also involve stun locking is 31/8/12. We suggest daggers for the burst damage specs and swords for the combat one. The Mutilate build is unique so far since of its high concentration of talent points in the assassination tree. It is known as 41/0/10. We suggest dual-wielding high-max-damage daggers for this build.

WoW Midgame Guide Mage Leveling

This is a guide to leveling as a mage. I'll feel on subjects such as: leveling methods, specs, and gear.

The class.
The mage is branch of the holy trinity of MMO-classes: warrior, priest, mage. The mage is the king of DPS (especially after 1.11) and crowdcontrol (CC) and has value as well (water/food/portals/buffs).

Leveling methods
As a mage you contain 50% more options to level, than other classes have. Either you choose, I highly suggest doing nothing but instance from 58-60 to gear up and get all your key quests done. Not responsibility, means missing out on a huge amount of XP.

The traditional ways are:

Grinding:
Not much to say on this. You kill mobs, they give XP, you lv l. If you don't have a comprehensive knowledge of where quests take you and which order is best, grinding is fast for leveling.
It can be pretty boring, but listening to music or being on Vent/TS helps a lot. Get a rhytm going and stay in it. Take break when you mana up to not go completely blind :)

The following is pretty good list of where to grind which mobs. It is however from a Horde viewpoint and you need to scroll down a bit to get to the guide :) If you read the whole bit, there are some suggestions for alternative, which work just as well..if not better.
wow leveling mage

And the following lists some nice alliance spots for grinding. Also are some suggestions on questing.
wow leveling alliancel

Questing:
If you know your way around the world, this is the greatest way to level up. This is also known as gresting to some. Decent horde guides are few and far between (there are some on this site), alliance have it a lot improved.

Horde - if you are horde, use Joana's guide. That will take you from 1-60 in 5 days /played. It's written from a hunter perspective, so my idea is staggering your progress in the guide by a lv l or two. Other than that, there are some (admittedly with hole in them) guides here in the strat section. An idea is to try and modify the subsequent Alliance guide.
wow leveling alliance guide
wow leveling vidoe are links to all the videos (thanks sQren)

Alliance - if you are Alliance, you got it made! The following guide will quickly and easily take you from 30-60. Reason it's 30, is because of the quests pre that are in and around the starter areas, so just level quickly to 30 and you are set.
wow leveling 30

AOE'ing:
This is where the mage can level differently. By using their Area of Effect spells, they can decimate scores of lower level enemies, thus gaining experience quickly.
The most comprehensive guide to AOE spots is from the official WOW forums
wow leveling forum

Doing it this way, takes some learning and it goes a lot smoother if you duo'ing, either with another AOE class or a healer. But you will level pretty quickly.

Talent Specs
For leveling I recommend Fire, then arcane or frost. For optimal leveling, you should respec at 58-60, when you start to raid. When you start to end-game raid, you should respec once again. I will also make a mage end-game guide, where I will touch upon these points.

Some people recommend ice for leveling, especially after 1.11, but I still prefer fire: damage from frost is dependent on crits and fire isn't so much. The base fireball has higher DPS than frost and with fire you have longer range.
Here is a small discussion of fire vs frost.
wow leveling fire v frost

This is the spec I suggest for leveling. This works very well when grinding, since you can DPS relatively well in melee with scorch or wand. Of course, it also works for gresting :) :
wow leveling grinding

Focus on improving your fireball up to lvl 40 (reduced cast time first, then stun. Rest is up to you), then put 7 points in arcane up to wands, then the rest in fire and finally the last points in arcane.

Method of pulling: Max range, then Pyroblast, Fireball, Fireball and then either fireblast/scorch/wand until dead (if you are lazy) or Frost Nova, get range, Fireballs until dead.

This is the spec I suggest for AOE'ing. It's based around frost and it's AOE abilities.
wow leveling aoe
Go up through through ice to improved Blizzard, then fill out arcane, then go ice until 60.

Method of AOE'ing: If the mobs are grouped, get max range, pop Ice Barrier and Blizzard them. You should be able to get 2 off. Then Frost Nova and Cone of Cold and Arcane Explosion until they die. If things get too hot, Ice Block, Frost Snap, Frost Nova, Ice Barrier, get range and repeat.

Gear
If you are grinding or gresting, you should go for +dam gear. Fireballs are on a 3.5 sec cast time, so get the full effect from the damage gear. Mana isn't really a concern since you have free drinks. Sip after every pull or every other pull, then you'll be fine.
If you are AOE'ing, you need a mix of INT and STAM if you don't have a healing buddy. You will mostly be casting instants or long channeled spells, so you will not get so much use out of damage.

When you start getting to 50+, this is a list of damage gear you should get:

WoW Alliance Leveling Guide

This guide pretty much kicks ass.I will show you were to grind and
quest from levels 1-40 and from 55-70.

Starting area (darnassus, elwynn, dun morogh, azuremyst isle)Do LOTS of questing in these areas, dont even grind at all. This should get you to level 10-12. The best starting place is dun morogh.

Advanced area (westfall, bloodmyst isle, darkshore) In these areas you should quest about 65-80% and grind the rest. This should get you to level 17-20. Bloodmyst isle is the best place of all these.

Duskwood and redridge mountains is the best place for levels 19-22. Here do about half grinding and half questing. Duskwood is the better place to get levels of these two places but they're both nice places. After you hit level 22 head over to stormwind and get some new weapons and armor, also pick up a one gathering profesion and one crafting profesion that are related to each other (examples: herbalism and alchemy, blacksmithing and mining, tailoring and enchanting, skinning and leatherworking)

Ashenvale and the wetlands are good places to get from 22-25. This is where grinding takes over. Grind a lot and quest as much as you can, as there aren't many quests in these places, they will get you a ton of experince though.

Hillsbrad foothills and deadwind pass are the only places to go to get to level 28. There aren't many quests here so you have to grind. While you're at these places remember to skin things and mine ore and collect herbs for your crafting profesion. Head to stormwind once you hit level 28 and get some twink shit 'cause you're gonna need it.

Stranglethorn vale is a dangerous place for a badly geared character so if you dont have good items go to arathi highlands. In STV grind on tigers and gorrilas or whatever you find. You will probably get ganked a few times but it doesnt do 10% damage to your items, just find your corpse and respawn. Arathi highlands is a little bit of quest but mostly grinding. You should get to levels 31 or 32.

Go to thousand needles now. Grind and quest here until you're level 34.

Dustwallow marsh is the place to now. Grind on whatever you find. If you like to piss the horde off go to the barrens and kill horde NPC's.You can get to level 40 easily here. Here is the end of the 1-40 guide and now is the 55-70 guide. Hope you enjoy it!

Eastern plaugelands and western plauglands are the place to go now. I think the EP is easier at a low level so go there first till youre level 57. Go to WP now till you're level 59. Quest a lot here and grind some to.

Winterspring is the place to go now. There is a major goblin town there so you can pick up quite a few quests there and just kill stuff there until you're half way to level 61. Now the outland guide comes into play. You will need the expansion for this.

Hellfire penninsula is where you go now. Quest until youre level 62.

Zangamarsh is where to quest now. Get to halfway between 63 and 64 and go to tekkor forest.

Tekkor forest is the place to ace. Quest and grind to level 66. Remeber, get ores, herbs, and hides so you can level up your professions.

Find some monsters to grind on that are easy to kill and get to level 68.

Shadowmoon valley is your final destination! Quest and grind till you are level 70. Get your flying mount now and do some end-game dungeons with some friends. I like the swift green gryphon the best.

TIPS

1.Make a level one alt that sits around stormwind or ironforge that handles all your auction house needs and sells your stuff.

2.If you can't afford stuff I recommend buying the World of Warcraft Cash Creating Guide. I can make 100-150 gold with this per hour easily at level 70.You can still make 50 gold an hour at level one with this guide.

3.You can solo this whole guide so don't get in a group unless there is a lot of people where you're going.

WoW Crafting Leatherworking 1-200

Ok, first off, leatherworking is a resource hog. I spent a grip of gold powerleveling this profession just to 200. We will start with an itemization based on the items I used to get to 200. As always, your milage may vary and these are not my hard numbers used to get to 200. These numbers are what you should expect to consume during the leveling process.

Light leather: 255 (sure seemed like more)
Medium leather: 160
Heavy leather: 200

Light hide: 0
Medium hide: 25
Heavy hide: 20

Course thread: 150
Fine thread: 65
Silken thread: 10

Grey dye: 20
Green dye: 10

Salt: 85

Now that you have all your consumables, itÂ’s time to start craftingÂ….and craftingÂ….and CRAFTING.

1-30: Light armor kits
30-40: Light leather quiver
40-50: Light armor kit
50-55: Hand stitched leather boots
55-90: Embossed leather gloves
90-100: Fine leather belt
100-115: Medium armor kit
115-125: Dark leather boots
125-135: Dark leather belt
135-150: HillmanÂ’s shoulders
150-180 Heavy armor kit
180-190: Green leather bracers
190-200: Guardian gloves

All the items I chose to grind on were either with resale in mind (to offset the cost of mats) or pure skill ups. IÂ’ll go over each item and detail my reason for choosing it.

Light armor kits: No brainer. They take 1 light leather and are yellow all the way to 50. They sell ok on the AH too.

Light leather quiver: These take 2 light leather and 1 course thread. Every hunter wants (or should want) one so resale is great. They are orange to 40 so take the guaranteed skill up.

Light armor kits: We go back to light armor kits because itÂ’s just smart due to the minimal resources. ItÂ’s yellow but if youre on a budget itÂ’s the way to go.

Handstitched leather boots: Filler item just to get to 55. Vendor trash.

Embossed leather gloves: Good for grinding because of the low resources used. More vendor trash

Fine leather belt: Another grey grinder to get to 100. **DONÂ’T VENDOR THESE** (YouÂ’ll see why in a bit)

Medium armor kits: Just like light armor kits, they are reasonable on the resources and will sell on the AH.

Dark leather boots: Filler item. Vendor trash

Dark leather belt: THIS is the reason we kept those fine leather belts. Almost no resources (minus the hide) and these things sell well on the AH. I put 4 up at 50s and they all sold first time. IÂ’m betting you can get more.

HillmanÂ’s shoulders: The perfect grinding item. Reasonable resources and they sell very well. These shoulders are the first decent green for an up and coming rogue/feral druid. DE is also an option but youÂ’ll do better to AH them.

Heavy armor: Same as light and medium armor kits. AH them or give them out to guildies.

Green leather bracers: Nothing exciting about these. Crappy stats but the best option for leveling at this point. I recommend DE for the vision dust/GME

Guardian gloves: Vendor trash.

Well, there you have it. Leatherworking 1-200 with full itemization. This is not the be all end all of LW grinding but more of a guide for those looking for a quick, semi-painless way to power level. These are many other patterns that sell well while youre climbing the LW ladder. Give those a try if youre skilling up while you level your character.

ENJOY!!!

WoW Leveling Weapon Skill Easy As A Hunter

This is for hunters...primarily. It can work for any class with instant melee attacks, but they are usually soft-capped, either by rage or energy. So it's most effective for hunters.

When you get your brand new uber weapon and you just bought the skill to use it...what do you do? HIT STUFF! However...by spamming Wing Clip rank 1, you skill up much faster. It counts a swing, thus yielding you 20-30 extra chances to skill up per mob. Use rank 1 to conserve mana and keep on trucking. Your pet will do most of the tanking, so stick to low lvl mobs.

WoW Horde Leveling 1-60

Horde leveling 1-60

This will be the horde section of my leveling guides, and like the Alliance one, it assumes that you are on a PvP server. If you are not on a PvP server, feel free to use both guides to your advantage, though I still would suggest these places because they are more advantageous to that race just because of the cities etc.

The horde has four races: Undead, Troll, Tauren, and Orc. Three of them start on the “Horde” or western continent, and the other, Undead, starts in the Eastern Kingdoms, nears the north. Both of these places have leveling for all classes, though I will recommend traveling to quite a few places. Like the other guide, I recommend going through all instances one can at their particular level, as they provide nice loot to help in solo leveling.

Level 1-10

Like alliance, level 1-10 is a solo experience for all of the classes, with basically a quest-based leveling that turns out to be very fast. All that is really necessary is to stay in the newbie section of the zone and branch out when quests are complete. I will be going race by race through the guide, though after level 30 I will go by zone, because by that time it will be easy to travel throughout the world, and all races can go through all zones.

Undead

Undead start in Tirisfall Glades, which has good leveling till at least 10, and can be pushed to 11. You can get quests right in the Cathedral where you start, and upon reaching level 6, one can travel just a little to the east to Brill for more quests. They are all in the vicinity, though a few will ask you to go to Silverpine Forest (this is for level 10-12, so keep them). There is no threats really, just stay away from the far northeast of the zone, as there are level 40 elite mobs there.

Tauren

The Taurens' home is Mulgore, where players will start in the southern part of the zone. The town there has a few quest chains to get you started, but once you find you are out, head a little to the north to Bloodhoof Village, which houses more quests. Upon level 8-9, one should make a trip to Thunder Bluff for more quests as well as trainers and equipment.

Trolls

Sen'Jin Village is the home of the Trolls, located in Durotar. It is in the very south of the zone, and should be a good place to go through level 10. Once you get higher up, you can head to Razor Hill, which has more quests, and then further up to Orgrimmar.

Orcs

Orcs also start in Durotar, but in Razor Hill. You can complete the same quests as the Trolls, and then head to Sen'Jin for more.

All Classes

It shouldn't take more than a few hours to reach level 10, most of the quests are easy and require killing monsters which give exp. You can get items that you need for killing harder monsters. Once you reach level 10 or 11, the options are pretty tight, but still make easy leveling.

Level 10-20

These levels take a more straightforeward approach, especially when one is playing horde. The classes are a lot more centralized, giving more opportunities for leveling together with other horde members and being a little safer if on a PvP server.

I reccomend that all races take a trip to Ogrimmar, and go through the instance Ragefire Chasm. It has good loot and is quick exp, especially with some quests that you can get right outside of it, as well as in the Barrens.

Troll, Orc and Tauren

Level 10-16/18 for these three classes is in one zone, which is gigantic. The Barrens is home to two outposts, many many quests, and three Instances. Technically there is a way to level from 10-22+ here, but it is probably easier to split it up from 10-18/20 and then come back at higher levels for two of the instances. You will want to run from Orgrimmar or Mulgore to the Barrens which is only one zone away from each of the newbie zones. You will want to make your way to the middle of the zone, where you will find The Crossroads. This place is full of quests that require you to travel around the zone and kill many different places. You will also want to take a trip to Rachet when you are around level 13 or 14, as there a quests for The Wailing Caverns, a great instance for level 15-18.

Furthermore, once you get to level 16-18, you can go south to Camp Taurajo, which is right near the Mulgore zone. There are higher level quests there if you want to keep leveling in the Barrens.

If you want somewhere new to go, around level 18 or 19, you can head to Stonetalon Mountains, which is a good place to level for the upcoming grind.

Undead

Personally, I would reccomend that Undead players take the same path as the other three classes, and take the Zepplin outside the Undercity to Durotar and go to Orgrimmar. Even so, Silverpine Forest serves as a good place to go for level 12-13, as there are some quick and easy slaughter quests. I would also reccomend that undead head to Ragefire Chasm and run the instance inside Orgrimmar.

Level 20-30

Leveling starts to slow down a bit, but there are plenty of zones and choices at this point. I would assume that by now all people are in the Barrens/Stonetalon Mountains, and start by heading to Sunrock Retreat in the middle of Stonetalon Mountains. You can quest there which will lead you to the goblins and humans of the digging company to the east, the Nightelf and Centaurs to the north, and to the Harpys to the west. This should be sufficient leveling to 25 or so, but there is a second option.

You can travel north of the Barrens to Ashenvale. There is a town to the north-northeast part of the zone, a good housing to quests. You can come here before Stonetalon, but I would suggest being at least level 25, as even though there will be a few green quests, the majority of them will be your level.

Furthermore, there is a level 28-31 instance in Ashenvale, Blackfathom Depths. There is some nice loot, and a run or two wouldn't be a bad idea. If this doesn't suit you, there is a second instance you can run at the very south part of the barrens, Razorfen Downs. You can check loot tables for the instances here, which is a great place to find out where you want to run to get better equipment.

Level 30-40

You may be a little above level 30, but it should be time to move on to new zones with new quests and instances. I am going to list zones and some good places to go (mostly where the quests are) instead of going by race, as everything is easily acessable with a little bit of travel.

First of all, since we are already out west, it would probably be best to travel to Desolace, which is south of Stonetalon Mountains. There are many opportunities there for questing, which can boost you up from 30-35 pretty quickly. You can head down to the southwest shoreline to find Shadowprey Village, but if you come here at 30, you will probably want to find the encampment in the Kodo Graveyard, on the eastern side. There you can do quests that relate to all of the centaur tribes, and get a great deal of grinding experience. Once you get up to 33 or so, I would reccomend Shadowprey's quests. There arn't any large chains, but you can get a level or two from all of them.

Another option, which is also highly reccomended is Hillsbrad Foothills. On PvP servers this zone can be a huge zone for ganking and PvP, but it also holds a great deal of quests to get players through 5-10 levels easily. If you come at 30, there may be one or two green quests, but they are all quest chains and will lead to elite quests for good exp and rewards. I reccomend going here first and doing the quest as much as possible, then heading to other zones such as Arathi Highlands and Stranglethron Vale.

As mentioned above Arathi Highlands is a great place to level after Hillsbrad. You will recieve one quest for this zone in Hillsbrad, and then you will be asked to turn in the quest to somebody from Hammerfall, located in the northeast section of the zone. Here there will be many quest chains, a lot of slaughter quests for fast exp, and not that many opposing alliance. In the middle of the zone there is an alliance city, so stay away from that part as the guards are level 42.

If you have gone in the order said above, you should be well on your way to 36 or 37 if you only did quests and then left the above zones. I would head to Straglethorn Vale. The easiest way to get there is to take the Zepplin from either Tirisfal or Durotar, and you will end up right in the beginning town, Grom'Gol Base Camp. There are plenty of quests that involve killing in the north and around the base camp, a pretty safe area in general. As you get a little higher in levels, you will have to advance further south, and eventually you can run all the way south to Booty Bay, which is a Goblin Town. There are a lot of options questwise there, and this should eaisly get you to 40. Even though there are a multitude of zones, there are a few other reccomendations.

Instances

There are a few instances you can travel to between 30 and 40, all of which hold some nice loot for all classes. I would definatly, as said in the Alliance Guide, suggest that all levelers go to Scarlet Monestary , there are great loot and exp opporunities. Even so, I've found that Razorfen Downs in The Barrens, as well as Uldaman in the Badlands are host to great loot and quests as well. Although you have to travel around to find the quests, consult the links to find out who to talk to for the quests. If you get sick of the solo thing, definatly check out these instances.

Level 40-50

Level 40-50 slims down a bit from 30-40 in places to go, but there are still many quests to go. I would suggest finish up Stranglethorn Vale if you havn't already done so, and then taking a trip back to the Western side of the world.

Feralas is a good place to level at 40, with mobs starting at 38 and rising all the way to 48 or 50. You can stay there for quite some time, with access coming from Thousand Needles. You can find the encampment in the middle of the zone, just keep following the path.

The other place I suggest is also next to Thousand Needles, but is to the south, not west. If you follow the Shimmering Flats in Thousand Needles you will come to Tanaris. Right when you arrive there you will be next to Gadgetzan, the main base for the zone. It is another goblin city, your main place for quests etc. You will want to complete those quests, and upon hitting 44 or 45, start forming Zul'Farruk groups. It is an instance in the northwest of the zone, and like usual, houses great exp and loot, along with some quests. These two zones alone should take you to level 48 or 49, though if you want another zone, there is a good alternative, although more Alliance based.

Traveling back to Hillsbrad Foothills, if you go to the northeast, you can find The Hinterlands. This zone has a lot of alliance, and the town is a little hard to get too, so I would suggest not going until level 48 or 49. There are tons of quests for horde at the town, which is located in the very southeast of the zone, below the cliffs. There is a ramp to get down, as jumping will result in death. You may want to find a partner, just in case there are alliance around, because this seems to be one of their prime leveling spots for the high 40's.

Level 50-60

These levels are more grinding instances and soloing, but there are quite a few zones you can visit. If you are already in Tanaris, head to the southwest and take the ramp down to Un'Goro Crater . If you head to the central-north part of the zone, there is a town with quest givers. If you happen to be 55+, you could head further west to Silithis, but you may need to go to a few other zones until you hit 55 or higher. I reccomend Silithis for level 55+, as a lot of the new quests give 6k+ exp and really good exp, they are level 59-60, and not really strong.

Furthermore, you can travel north in the western continents to the three adjacent zones Azshara, Felwood, and Winterspring. All host 50-55+ quests and plenty of them. With these five zones there should be no problem to leveling.

Furthermore, instancing at 55-60 is amazing, and can even be done at 52. From 52-55, I reccomend Atal'Hakkar. When you get 55+, you can do either Scholomance Stratholme Dire Maul or my personal favorite Blackrock Depths. The last 10 levels have a lot of possibilities even though they can be slow at times, just keep going and try to get groups in Orgrimmar for the instances, or you can solo in any of those zones, or even the Plaguelands.

WoW Hunter Powerleveling Strategy

This is nothing really major but ill post this strategy anyways.
Powerleveling other players or other accounts can be hard at times since the way the xps work in wow
sure we all know get on a high level character and help players do quests is probably the easiest but grinding is just much more fun.
heres how i did it with a hunter.
My wife has a low level hunter and I have a level 27 hunter
our basic idea was to try to get her to my level as fast as possible
We are both night elves
1-10 just do the newbie stuff, quests.. can be done in a few hours until you can do the taming quest... once you can tame the fun starts.
ok now that you have tamed a beast.. we moved on to Goldshire. We just asked a mage in Darnassus to port us.. Most mages are nice and will port newbies without charge. Just be nice when asking
Do /who mage
that will give you a list of mages in Darnassus
ok now you have arrived in SW
goto goldshire .. and make a new home. You will be here awhile
pick up all the quests in goldshire..
at this point my wife grouped with me
I did all the quest for her and setting loot to free loot so she can loot whatever.
ok so now we done all the quests.. move on to westfalls .. do all the quests... while grouped.. same as above
ok now the grouping is done. time to grind...
at the time .. i just tamed some black wolf in duskwood for this. I normally use a lion but for this i used a lower level wolf..
why lower level? well there is a reason. I dont want my wolf hitting too hard but i want it to get agro..
ok so i tell my wife ok ungroup.. find a mob 4 levels higher or so
her first arrow shot is con
(she gets first hit)
send pet
now at this point her pet is getting smacked down.. while shes firing off arrows..
I send my not so uber pet in.. and it hits mob once.. doing very little damage but it gets agro..
now constantly hit pet follow.. YOU MUST CONSTANTLY HIT IT OR IT WILL TURN ON THE MOB

as i was hitting the pet follow button i went around in a circle around my wife as she was firing off arrows at the mob.. her pet was hitting mob from behind but mob was constantly on my pet.. since my pet pissed it off really good. My pet is taking a beating but its all good cause it was still a bit higher than the intended mob.

anyways.. my wife was getting great xps for this as if she was in the double xp bracket but she was in purple bars.

anyways not a big major exploit or anything just a cool trick if you have the patience.. and you cannot get banned for this. this is no more than really kiting EQ style in the world of warcraft

WoW BCC Level 1-60 in 4 days

Alliance 1-60 Guide
* NOT A NEWBIE FRIENDLY GUIDE *
* ONLY USE IF YOU KNOW HOW TO PLAY WOW *
------------------------

This guide has been proven to work; 1-60 in 4 days
of /played time, NOT 4 days literally; just so you
don’t !@#$%^&* about it.

=============

Profession - powerleveling 300/300 -

Obviously everyone has a different way to do it and mine is not the best,
or the most efficient way to do it. But here are a few things we did to level :

1a. For speed leveling - you should not be afraid to fight when you are in
low hp/mana. we kept pulling on our Shaman until we was down to about 10%
hp and 10% Mana. That cuts down on med time.

1b. The key is to grind on mobs that are 1 or 2 lvls above you and
complete quests while you are doing this

2. You're going spend tons on food/water/bandages

3a. for casters, buy good wands every few levels. Get cookie's stirring rod
from VC and buy the rest as you go. Maybe a new wand every 5-7 levels.
That way you can cut down on med time by wanding the mob when it is at
10% health so you can naturally start to regen mana

3b. for melee - bandage ,bandage, bandage and buy good weapons every
few levels

3c. if you can afford it, pimp yourself out (caster get +dmg gear, melee
get +attack power gear) the harder you hit, the faster things die, the
faster you get xp. Even that means you spend more time sitting down
eating/drinking (that only takes 15 seconds max)

Here’s what to do:

The Times listed are w/out rested XP

Human/Gnome/Dwarf -
Nooby zone (1 - 6.5) - yes, get to 6.5 ... that means killing just a handful
of extra mobs. If you are just grinding and doing quests this should take
you 1hr

** now go to IF or SW and pick up skinning (this will help offset the costs
of buying your gear and buying food/water) Highly recommend that you
spend 20g and get yourself 4 runecloth bags. In order to power level
yourself you can't be going back to town to sell things every hour

Outside IF/SW (6.5-11) - pick one (don't go between SW and IF cuz that
takes way too long) you're going to need to grind a bit but this will take
you 3-4 hrs of played time (again, no chatting is involved here ... typing
just slows down your DPS and slows down your leveling) ^_^

Loch Modan (11-13) - the first few quests here are easy to do. Kill spiders,
bears, boars. Kill little kobolds. Kill trolls. You can skin and get cloth to
make bandages. 2 hrs played

Westfall (13-16) - Complete all the level 12 quests and then grind on the
Harvest Golem/Watchers near the north part of Westfall. There should be 3
farms that have level 11-13 mobs. Then grind on the higher level ones on
the West until you hit 16. While you're running around the farms, grinding
on these mobs - complete the other westfall quests. 4 hrs played

*be sure to do the defias brother hood quests

*don't forget to pick up the quest 'dry times' and start buying the alcohol
form the different places

Loch Modan (16-1) Cool - come back here and do a few more quests. You
should be able to complete them quickly since you are such high level.
Don't forget the quests in the digging site to the east and the other building
all the way in the southeast corner (i forget the name of it) 4 hrs played

Redridge (18-20) – quest, quest, quest and grind on Murlocks or the
Kobolds (forget what they are called but they are all over the mountains to
the north) 4 hrs played

**DING ** have someone run you through the Deadmines 2-4 times (until
you get some nice gear) 2 hrs played

You should now be at 1 day /played

Redridge (21-23) - quest and grind on Orcs on the north east part of RR 4
hrs played

WETLANDS (23-25) - quest/grind on murlocks, crocs, the undead pirates,
the invisible dudes that walk in the river, the gnolls, etc (do not do the Orc
quests yet) 4 hrs played

Darkshire (25-2) Quest, quest, quest - the wolf guys, the comb quest,
the Undeads in the cemetery, etc, etc 5 hrs played

**find a kind soul to take you to the stockades (do all the quests there in
one run, not worth it to get gear)

Wetlands (28.5-30) - do the orc quests, raptor quests and then grind it out
on either one (Orcs if you need bandages, raptors if you want skins) 5 hrs
played

*if you can, find someone to help you with the last few Darkshire quest
(morbent fel, etc)

Hillsbrad Foothills (30-31.5) - these quest are probably green to you (if
they are grey and not part of a chain, skip them). You should be able to
kill Nagas and Murlocks on the south and get good xp. You can also do the
defias quests really quick. 2 hrs played

Alterac Mountains (31.5-33) - grind in the cave to the north (on the way to
AV) and then yetis ... just grind 6 hrs played

**DING you should be at 2 days /played** (maybe a little more if you
have been chatting it up

Arathi Highlands (33-35) - some quick quests here - you can grind on Orcs
or trolls

**at this time, have someone take you to SM and do some quests there. If
they can, run you through until you get some nice gear (class dependent
obviously) and you should be able to get a level or two from there.
Ideally, they would run you through the whole thing 4 hrs played -
obviously you may not find someone to dedicate 4 hrs for you, so go to
STV and start your quests there too ...

STV (34-40) - let us break this one down for you

**the key here is to pick up as many quests as you can, and complete
them all before turning them in. STV is FULL of chain quests. Kurzen camp
quests, Mastery quests, Troll tribes, etc**

(34-35) your first set of quests should get you a full level. Grind as much
as you can in the kurzen camp since its usually safe from ganking

(35-37) troll tribes (getting the tablets) and 2nd series of masteries and
the geologist co quests.

**@ 37 go to STV and pick up quests there

(37-40) singing blue shards, apes, raptors, tigers, panthers and troll
tooths? or whatever it is you need to collect from trolls. 20 hrs played

**if at any point you get tired of STV, go back to Arathi or if you really
hate grinding, go to Desolace or even Badlands

**or if you find someone nice, they'll take you to gnomeragan **

**DING - go buy your mount** /played 3 days

***We'll stop posting how much time it should take you so no one will get
depressed and hurt themselves but it slows down a lot from this point on,
now you really need to start buying that +dmg +ap gear***

(from this point on 40-50 should be about 4 hrs per level on average and
50-60 should be about 5-6 hrs per level)

(plus the levels specified from this point on are more strict, for example - I
wouldn't recommend going to sorrow hill before you are 50 cuz its not
efficient - same thing for Un'Goro before level 52)

Alterac Mountains (40-42) - Ogres (non elite) + humanoids (quest/grind)

Tanaris (42-45) - wasteland wanderers (grind, grind, grind) - get water
pouches and just grind. Trust us on this, you need to start grinding some
or you'll run out of quests and get stuckin between zones)

STV (45-46.5) - finish the quests here (pirates, Zanzil secret/Nagas, apes,
etc)

Tanaris (46.5-4Cool - Ogres (again grind, grind, grind) - you can pick up
quests in Tanaris and complete them if you want, but its faster to just grind
right now

Searing Gorge (48-50) - quests are fast and grinding is easy. Don't bother
getting the searing gorge key ... you'll never run through that door ...

Western Plaguelands (50-51) - sorrow hill - Chillwind point.

**I know this place is super camped so if you can't find pulls there, go
back to Searing Gorge or Feralas (there is a repeatable quest there on the
shore (right after you take the boat the little goblin there gives it)) or
even Azshara (but watch out for the farmers there!)

Felwood (51-52) - some quests, some grinding. Don't bother doing the
quests in the north by the cave that leads to Winterspring. Just do
whatever is green/yellow so that would be the first Furlbog quests +
Jadenar + whatever other quests you pick up from the south part of
Felwood

Un'Goro (52-54) - Bring your Mithril casing! (2 escort quests + lots of kill
quests + some travel back and forth between here and Tanaris)

**its important that you grind whatever part of your level is left

WPL (54-55) - finish quests here (cauldrons + scarlet + whatever else you
can find) and then grind

Azshara - Felwood (55-56) - GRIND! or do whatever quests you still
haven't done here (you could grind on Ogres in Burning Steppes too)

Winterspring (56-57) - quests + grinding (you might want to go to
Darnassus first, in the Therussian village you can pick up a quest for
Azshara and another for Winterspring)

Burning Steppes (57-5Cool - quests + grinding on Ogres/Orcs/dragons

EPL (58-59) - lots of good quests here, just that you run into the occasional
horde party going to Strath

Silithus (59-60) - tons of good quests, just hard to do cuz of the entire
uber guild going to farm the texts and AQ

**again, this guide shows a lot of grinding but its helpful if you stay in one
zone until you level.**

WoW Talents for Speed-Leveling

This should give you an idea of how you should choose your talents for best leveling purposes.
Talents, level 10-40(shadow tree). There's a great JavaScript talent calculator here:

wow leveling talent

Now you have 'Spirit Tap' the best skill for leveling/grinding, with this you could kill mobs that are around your level range without even having downtime. (That means no mana drinking, if you use this talent right you could grind mobs for hours not drinking mana)
Note: When engaging an enemy always have the sheild up before you start attacking ( recast the sheild as soon as you ge the spiritbuff if possible)
And remember the wand is your friend, saves mana and does very nice damage, you should always check the action house for a better wand than your current, every few levels.
And now when you've reached 40, and have spent 31 points into the Shadow tree, its time to get some nice talents from the Discipline tree.

Talents, lvl 40-60(Discipline tree)
wow leveling 60
(Notice that We've put the last point into Shadow Focus in the Shadow tree)

This specc is purely for Leveling, after you hit 60 we've got some other speccs for you.

PvP spec(the facemelter)
wow leveling facemelter
This is mainly for pvp but if you get some nice gear you could be doing damage instead of healing in Instances.

PvE spec(the healer)
wow leveling healer
This is the healer build, it can look like many things 31/20/0, 18/33/0 etc, mess around with it see what fits you.

WoW Alliance powerlevel 1-70 in 8 days Prt14

74) Now either use the LFG and go do the Slave Pens once then after it you skip to step 76, or grind on these ogres until you're 66 and about 20k into it then continue. You'll get a little more xp if you do the Slave Pens instead and it'll be faster and less boring so try to do it. You should finish slave pens about 40k into 66
75) Go back to Telaar up to Arechron at the north overlook and turn in 'Message to Telaar'
76) You should be about half way through honored with Kurenai as well as very close to 66, like 5-10% to 66. I am usually about half a bar from leveling, 20k. That is if you do slave pens, if you don't you should be 66 after grinding and get some more for turning in the quest
77) If you are doing Slave Pens, fly to Telredor, make it your home, and then run east to the Refuge and into the back of the Inn, accept 'Failed Incursion'
78) Enter Coilfang via the pipe in the lake at 50,40 and follow it to the caves. When you come up you'll see Jhang, turn in 'Failed Incursion' which will give you a tiny bit of xp SKIP the next part unless you plan on doing underbogs as well. This should take about an hour. Note that there are no quests for just the slave pens
79) The slave pens is the left instance
80) Once you're done you should be about 30-40k into 66, now get out, fly to Shattrath and go train in a city, then hearth back to Telredor
81) Fly to Orebor Harborage and as you land accept 'No Time for Curiosity' then go up the stairs into Blades Edge Mountain

Blades Edge Mountain 66-67

1) Once you get to the top of the stairs, just outside the cave, accept [url=wow leveling crowlers]'Killing the Crawlers' then go in the cave, kill them while you pass through to the other side
2) Now I would like to say that Blades Edge is a huge maze and you might have to go way around to get down or up but following my guide helps
3) Follow the road until you reach Sylvanaar, grab [url=wow leveling den mother]'The Den Mother' on the wanted sign, then go in the first building on your left to Kialon Nightblade and turn in [url=wow leveling no tome]'No Time for Curiosity' then outside the building near the stone and benches is Rina Moonspring, accept '[url=wow leveling wild]The Encroaching Wilderness'
4) Go north to the next building to Skyshadow and turn in '[url=wow leveling kill]Killing the Crawlers' accept [url=wow leveling bloodmaul]'The Bloodmaul [url=wow leveling orges]Ogres'
5) Go north some more and you'll see the dryad Daranelle and accept '[url=wow leveling malaise]Malaise' then go in this long building, you'll see 2 explorers' league members at the front, accept '[url=http://wow leveling draenethyst]Into the Draenethyst Mine' from Bronwyn and '[url=wow leveling borgrim]Strange Brew' from Borgrim
6) Go across to the Inn and make it your home then go to the top of town and grab the FP
7) Go south of town and kill the grovestalker lynx's for '[url=wow leveling encroaching]The Encroaching Wilderness' once you have them all killed go west to Veil Lashh at 35,73 and kill the arakkoa for their feathers. Be careful if they run to a circle they try to summon a pet. The bridge going up into the trees is at 34,76 go up in it and you'll see the book on a table. Use the book and turn in 'Malaise' accept 'Scratches' then stand on one of the purple circles and use the feathers to get a Kaliri Totem bird like pet
8) Go back north to Sylvanaar and left as you enter to Rina, turn in 'The Encroaching Wilderness' accept 'Marauding Wolves'
9) Go north to Daranelle and she'll take the spirit off you and then you can turn in 'Scratches'
10) Go south to 38,74 and follow the path down into the Bloodmaul Ravine and kill the ogres for 'The Bloodmaul Ogres' also keep an eye out at the camps for brew kegs for 'Strange Brew' and you can get it from brewmasters, more than 1 brew can be in a barrel (collect 5 more than needed for this quest for later). Work your way south while doing this to the Draenethyst Mine at 43,82
11) Inside the cave keep killing ogres that you see and grab the Draenethyst Mine Crystals for 'Into the Draenethyst Mine' you can find some kegs in here too. Once you're done exit the cave and finish getting any brew and ogres you need. Make sure you have 5 extra brews
12) Run back to Sylvanaar and go to the 2nd building on your left to Skyshadow, turn in 'The Bloodmaul Ogres' accept 'The Bladespire Ogres'
13) Go inside the long building to Borgrim and turn in 'Strange Brew' accept 'Getting the Bladespire Tanked' then turn around to Bronwyn and turn in 'Into the Draenethyst Mine'
14) Follow the path east at 41,65 over towards the horde base and once you cross kill the Thunderlord Dire Wolves for 'Marauding Wolves' then grind down to the cave at 52,74 and slay Rema for 'The Den Mother' she's really easy
15) Go east to the path going up, you'll see R-3D0 who is just a broken bot, tells you to not go up to Toshley's Station but it's a goblin quest hub.
16) Follow the path up to Toshley's at 60,69 and at Nickwinkle, accept 'Crystal Clear' at Toshley accept 'Picking Up Some Power Converters' then go east and grab the FP
17) Go around the other side to Tally and accept 'Test Flight: The Zephyrium Capacitorium' then turn aorund to Rally and say you're ready for your flight which is going to zap you and then throw you far away, down the hill near R-3D0, you won't get hurt. Go back up and talk to Tally and turn it in and accept 'Test Flight: The Singing Ridge'
18) Go north to the Bladespire Outpost at 57,60 and click the power converters then use the magneto collector on the electromental that comes out and then kill it for 'Picking Up Some Power Converters'
19) Go back to Toshley and turn in 'Picking Up Some Power Converters' accept 'Ride the Lightning'
20) Now you can get some more quests, talk to Dizzy Dina and accept 'Ridgespine Menace' then you should see Razak Ironsides walking around, accept 'Cutting Your Teeth'
21) In the Inn accept 'What Came First, the Drake or the Egg?'
22) Now sign the waiver in your bag and talk to Rally again and select take me to singing ridge
23) Now you're on the other side of the canyon
24) Now go north of this spot and pop on the magneto sphere and absorb lightning strikes from scalewing serpents, you should get about 2-4 per fight depending on your class, while gathering glands from them for 'Ride the Lightning' this can be rather annoying since you have to have the debuff on you for a minute before you can remove it and the lightning makes you take extra damage and you have a permanent hamstring on you too.
25) Keep an eye out for Ridgespine Stalkers for 'Ridgespine Menace' they're the stealthed spiders that creep near the spikes and kill daggermaw lashtails for their teeth for 'Cutting Your Teeth' most of the daggermaws are north of death's door on the map, which if you don't have that uncovered, it's the canyon you just got thrown over
26) Now either run south, or back to Toshley's and have them throw you back east then go south into the singing ridge, look for spiky looking eggs and use them, then use the phase modulator on them and kill whatever the tiny dragon turns into for 'What Came First, the Drake or the Egg?'
27) Also kill crystal flayers for 'Crystal Clear' as you go through the ridge and back to Toshley's
28) Once you kill them all go back to Toshley's and turn in 'Ride the Lightning' accept 'Trapping the Light Fantastic' then to Nickwinkle and turn in 'Crystal Clear' accept 'Gauging the Resonant Frequency'
29) Go to Tally and turn in 'Test Flight: The Singing Ridge'
30) At Dizzy Dina turn in 'Ridgespine Menace' accept 'More than a Pound of Flesh'
31) Find Ironsides in town and turn in 'Cutting Your Teeth' then in the Inn turn in 'What Came First, the Drake or the Egg?'
32) Now to to Tally again and accept 'Test Flight: Razaan's Landing' but don't turn it in yet
33) Now anywhere in singing ridge, I recommend just inside the area when it says singing ridge, clear the mobs for about 50 yards, now you have to use the frequency scanner in your bag and lay 5 down at least 25 yards away from each other, in a circle. (some 66 fish things may come out) Once you do that stand in the spot where all 5 make a small circle, so the center, and you'll get the complete message.
34) Go back to Nickwinkle and turn in 'Gauging the Resonant Frequency'
35) Go to Rally and have him send you to Razaan's Landing
36) Now you are in front of the landing, go into it and lay light traps down when you see the pink orbs to capture them for 'Trapping the Light Fantastic' and kill the flesh beasts for 'More than a Pound of Flesh' note that if you lay the traps near the pink electric circles on the poles, you can keep grabbing the orbs in a row
37) Go back to town and at Toshley turn in 'Trapping the Light Fantastic' accept 'Show Them Gnome Mercy!' then at Dizzy Dina turn in 'More than a Pound of Flesh'
38) Go to Tally and turn in 'Test Flight: Razaan's Landing' then go to Rally and have him send you back to the landing
39) Go into Razaan's again and kill about 4 of the Razaani by the portal in the center of the village at 66,44 and Nexus-Prince Razaan will appear. Kill him and loot the box that falls for 'Show Them Gnome Mercy!'
40) Go back to Toshley's to Toshley and turn it in and he'll give you a thanks and a power converter that you should hold onto.
41) Fly to Sylvanaar
42) Go down from the Inn and go right to Skyshadow and turn in 'The Den Mother' then more to the right down the hill at Rina turn in 'Marauding Wolves' accept 'Protecting Our Own'
43) Go south out of town and look for grove seedlings on the ground and click them to grow defenders for 'Protecting Our Own'
44) Go back and turn it in and accept 'A Dire Situation'
45) Go south again into the bloodmaul ravine and use the powder on the bloodmaul wolves for 'A Dire Situation' they turn small and friendly when you do this
46) Follow the road north until you reach Bladespire Hold
47) At 43,51 is Vuuleen in a cage, accept 'The Trappings of a Vindicator'
48) Kill the ogres here for 'The Bladespire Ogres' don't forget to put down a keg to get the first 5 drunk for 'Getting the Bladespire Tanked' when you lay it, they run at it and get drunk, then you can kill them
49) Droggam is in the building at 39,53 and has 4 guards, 2 elite 2 non-elite. Pull the non-elites, then lay a mug of the brew in the doorway, on the green part, make sure you don't do it too far, and he'll come out without the 2 elites since they're sober guards they don't drink. This is for 'The Trappings of a Vindicator' If you run out of the beers, remember your keg has some charges in it
50) At the hut at 42,57 is Mugdorg for the 2nd part of 'The Trappings of a Vindicator' same thing as the last boss, pull the non-elites, pull boss with a beer
51) Go back to Vuuleen at 44,51 and turn in 'The Trappings of a Vindicator' accept 'Gorr'Dim, Your Time Has Come...'
52) Go west to the big hut at 40,49 and you'll see Gorr'Dim now same as before, pull the 2 non elites, use brew to pull the boss then go back to Vuuleen and turn it in and SKIP 'Planting the Banner'
53) Hearth to Sylvanaar
54) Go straight across from the Inn to Borgrim and turn in 'Getting the Bladespire Tanked'
55) Exit and go left to Skyshadow and turn in 'The Bladespire Ogres' then down over the edge to Rina Moonspring, turn in 'A Dire Situation'
56) Fly to Toshley's and go to Tally and accept 'Test Flight: Ruuan Weald' then speak to Rally then use the spinning nether-weather vane while you're flying through the air to be a super ninja =D
57) As soon as you land in Evergrove, grab the FP. If you forget to use the weather vane, fly back and do it again
58) Near the moonwell talk to Tree Warden Chawn and accept 'A Time For Negotiation...' then to Timeon and accept 'Creating the Pendant'
59) Go south to O'Mally Zapnabber and turn in 'Test Flight: Ruuan Weald'
60) Go north to the Dryad Faradrella and accept 'Culling the Wild' then west to the 2 npcs, and accept 'A Date with Dorgok' and 'Crush the Bloodmaul Camp!' then go more west to the treant Mosswood and accept 'Little Embers' and 'From the Ashes'
61) You should be 70-75% to 67 now
62) While out here keep an eye out for Overseer Nuaar, he's a yellow named Draenei. Talk to him for 'A Time for Negotiation...' you should find him while out here, he walks around the camps here
63) Go NE to Veil Ruuan and kill the arakkoa for Ruuan'ok Claws, once you have 6 go to the green summoning circle surrounded by water and basalisks at 64,33 and use the claws to summon the harbinger of the raven and kill him for 'Creating the Pendant'
64) Go south then east up the path from town, then go north once you are up top and kill the fel corrupters, the mages that walk in pairs they should drop a damaged mask item which starts 'Damaged Mask' kill them until it drops for you, they're very easy to kill, the daggermaw are raptors, and the scalewings are serpents for 'Culling the Wild'
65) Go up to Skald (this is a tough area so get in and out unless you have good fire resist) at 70,23 and kill the imps for 'Little Embers' also look for mounds of fertile volcanic soil for 'From the Ashes' and plant a seed in it. If it was used it will look like trees out here so you can spot it. The southern soil is at 71,22 the central soil is at 71,20 and the northern just ahead at 71,18
66) Go back to Evergrove
67) Go to O'Mally Zapnabber and turn in 'Damaged Mask' accept 'Mystery Mask' then hand it in to Antelarion the old dryad who circles town and accept 'Felsworn Gas Mask'
68) Go to the center moonwell to the Tree Warden and turn in 'A Time for Negotiation...' accept '...and A Time For Action' then beside him accept 'Poaching from Poachers' then go to Timeon and turn in 'Creating the Pendant' accept 'Whispers of the Raven God'
69) Go to the dryad and turn in 'Culling the Wild' then west to Mosswood the treant and turn in 'Little Embers' and 'From the Ashes'
70) You probably have hit honored with the Cenarion Expedition by now too
71) Go back up the east ramp to Forge Camp: Anger at 73,41 and put on the gas mask and you'll see the communicator right near the front and turn in 'Felsworn Gas Mask' accept 'Deceive thy Enemy'
72) Now kill 4 attendants and engineers and turn it back in SKIP 'You're Fired!' unless there are people around to help you
73) You should now be 67 or very close to it. You can destroy the mask you're wearing now and the mystery mask
74) Go back down, north and west of Evergrove and kill poachers for nets for 'Poaching from Poachers' and kill hewers for '...and a Time for Action' you should get a meeting note to drop which starts 'Did You Get The Note?'
75) Follow the road north that will wind down right into Bloodmaul camp at 57,27 and start killing the ogres for 'Crush the Bloodmaul Camp!' and kill Dorgok up top of the tower at 55,24 for 'A Date with Dorgok'
76) Dorgok should also drop Gorgrom's Favor which starts 'Favor of the Gronn'
77) Either run back to Evergrove or hearth to Sylvanaar and fly to Evergrove
78) When you enter go to Stonewall and turn in 'A Date with Dorgok' and 'Favor of the Gronn' accept 'Pay the Baron A Visit' then next to him turn in 'Crush the Bloodmaul Camp!'
79) By the moonwell talk to the Tree Warden and turn in '...and a Time for Action' and 'Did You Get The Note?' accept 'Wyrmskull Watcher' then to Samia turn in 'Poaching from Poachers' accept 'Whelps of the Wyrmcult'
80) You should definitely be 67 by now and at least 5-10% into it

Blades Edge Mountain 67-68

81) Go SW out of town and follow the path, Note Grulloc is to your left for later, down and west to the Circle of Blood at 53,41 on the west side of it, talk to Baron Sablemane and turn in 'Pay the Baron a Visit' accept 'Into the Churning Gulch'
82) Go SW just a little bit to 48,43 and start killing the crust busters for 'Into the Churning Gulch' this can be found off the young and greater ones. Once finished turn it back in at the circle of blood then accept 'Goodnight, Gronn'
83) Go back east to 59,47 and you'll see Grulloc guarding a bag. Use the sleeping powder on him and
grab the sack. It has 3 charges and he wakes up when you take the bag so use it again and run because he hurts. 2-3 hits and you're dead
84) Now go back to the Baron and turn it in, accept 'It's A Trap!'
85) Go back to Evergrove to Commander Stonewall at the north part of town and turn it in, accept 'Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater' then beside him accept 'Slaughter at Boulder'Mok'
86) Head west over the Wyrmskull Bridge and on the other side you'll see Watcher Moonshade, turn in 'Wyrmskull Watcher' accept 'Longtail is the Lynchpin'
87) Now go through the cave and look for Draaca Longtail and kill him, then return to Watcher Moonshade and turn it in and accept 'Meeting at the Blackwing Coven'
88) As you exit the cave follow the road through the Grishnath Camp, grinding on them, to 40,17 and go up the tree and grab the first totem for 'Whispers of the Raven God' the 2nd totem is across the road at the other bridge. The third is on the ground by the basilisk lake just below the 2nd totem entrance ramp. (easy having 3 so close) The fourth totem is far away near the entrance on the ground between the big and small hut at 40,23 and will also give you the pendant. If you didn't get the pendant then you probably grabbed the totems out of order
89) You should have also found at least one Orb of Grishna which starts 'The Truth Unorbed'
90) Go west to Boulder'mok and start killing the ogres for 'Slaughter at Boulder'mok' which will also give you grisly totems for 'Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater' you only need 3 then go to Gorgrom's Altar at 30,22 and click it to set the trap. A 70 elite will come out and die on the trap, then lay the 3 totems around his body
91) Go south to Blackwing Coven (this place sucks, it's pretty tough) at 31,32 and kill the wyrmcults for 5 costume scraps for 'Meeting at the Blackwing Coven' beware when they're low on life, they may try to cast some type of black blessing which turns them into a dragonkin with about 50% life and they start fireballing and doing fire nova.
92) Go in the cave and use the blackwhelp net on the dragon whelps in here for 'Whelps of the Wyrmcult' you can get right next to eggs and they will hatch one for you to capture
93) Head to the back of the cave, put on the costume, and talk to Kolphis Darkscale for 'Meeting at the Blackwing Coven'
94) Hearth To Sylvanaar then fly to Evergrove
95) As you land talk to Samia and turn in 'Whelps of the Wyrmcult' then next to her turn in 'Meeting at the Blackwing Coven' accept 'Maxnar Must Die!' and turn in 'The Truth Unorbed' accept 'Treebole Must Know'
96) Go Timeon on the other side of the moonwell and turn in 'Whispers of the Raven God'
97) Go north to Stonewall and turn in 'Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater' accept 'Baron Sablemane Has Requested Your Presence' then beside him turn in 'Slaughter at Boulder'mok'
98) You should be roughly 30% through 67
99) Run back across wyrmskull bridge and through the tunnel then as you exit the tunnel go left up the path into Raven's Wood and you'll find Treebole at 37,22 turn in 'Treebole Must Know' accept 'Exorcising the Trees' (bugged in beta so didn't finish)
100) Go SW and enter Blackwing Coven again at 32,33 and go like last time but past the guy you talked to and around to Maxnar the Ashmaw. Kill him for 'Maxnar Must Die!' then die on purpose so you end up at Sylvanaar or hearth if it's up
101) Go back to Evergrove and turn in 'Maxnar Must Die!'
102) Go down to the circle of blood again at 53,41 and turn in 'Baron Sablemane Has Requested Your Presence' then SKIP 'Massacre at Gruul's Lair' unless you get some friends. Going here was just for a tiny bit of free xp
103) Go back up to Evergrove and take the path east up top, then go north and follow the path until it takes you to Netherstorm

Netherstorm 67-68

1) As you cross the first bridge, Gyro-Plank Bridge, you'll see Netherologist Coppernickels accept 'Off To Area 52'
2) At the fork make a left into the Ruins of Enkaar and outside you'll see Alley, accept 'Recharging the Batteries'
3) Go north to the edge of the spot you're in and take phase hunters down to about 25% life, it will say the hunter is very weak, and use the battery recharging blaster on them, then kill them for 'Recharging the Batteries' then go back to Alley and turn it in
4) Go back and follow the road over the wierd wooden steps into Area 52 at 32,62
5) Just as you come up to Area 52, go on the left side and grab the FP
6) When you enter on your right is Boots, accept 'Securing the Shaleskin Shale' there is a quest turnin where he becomes untalkable because he blows himself up. If this happens just wait
7) Straight-ahead is Fuselage, turn in 'Off To Area 52' accept 'You're Hired!'
8) SKIP the 2 elite wanted quests on the poster
9) Go in the Inn and make it your home then from Exarch Orelis accept 'Distraction at Manaforge B'naar'
10) Exit the Inn and cross the bridge, on your right speak with Ravandwyr and accept 'The Archmage's Staff'
11) Exit to the north, now while you're out here kill the shaleskin flayers for 'Securing the Shaleskin Shale' it's a low droprate but there are a lot out here
12) Go north to the just outside the west of the Ruins, where you went when you first came in to this zone, at 31,56 is Maxx A. Million Mk. V accept 'Mark V is Alive!' and escort him through the Ruins. This says it's a 2 person quest but I can't see why again as with others. Maybe it's possible to get overwhelmed with mobs but nothing spawns on you. While in here grab the Etherlithium Matrix Crystals for 'You're Hired!' then when you're done with the escort, turn it in to Alley. If you didn't get all the crystals then go back and get what you need.
13) Go back to Area 52 and as you enter talk to Boots and turn in 'Securing the Shaleskin Shale' (you should be done, if not just turn in next time) accept 'That Little Extra Kick'
14) Go to the center of town near the rocket to Fuselage and turn in 'You're Hired!' accept 'Invaluable Asset Zapping' and 'Report to Engineering' now run across the bridge to Trep and turn it in and accept 'Essence For the Engines'
15) Go back north again and start killing Mana Wraiths for 'Essence For the Engines', they're around the glowing trenches, as well as Nether Rays for 'That Little Extra Kick' they're around the rocks near the shaleskin flayers. Don't forget anymore shaleskin flayers if you still need them
16) Go back to Area 52 again to Boots and turn in 'That Little Extra Kick' then watch him blow himself up if you want
17) Go south to Trep and turn in 'Essence for the Engines' accept 'Elemental Power Extraction'
18) Go west out of town and SW to Manaforge B'naar and kill the Magisters and Bloodwarders for 'Distraction at Manaforge B'naar'
19) Go south to the crumbling waste along the edge of the map around 32,78 and look for Sundered rumblers and warp aberrations and use the elemental power extractor on them. They'll get a blue dust glow on them and when you kill them they drop Elemental Powers for 'Elemental Power Extraction'
20) Go NE and enter Arklon Ruins at 37,71 then inside here, around the circle, are the 4 pieces for 'Invaluable Asset Zapping' and they're really close so I don't need to explain this one really
21) Go to the center of town now to the broken fountain and use the conjuring powder to summon Ekkorash the Inquisitor for 'The Archmage's Staff'
22) Go back to Area 52 and outside of town in the trench at 34,68 is Blastfizzle, turn in 'Invaluable Asset Zapping' accept 'Dr. Boom!'
23) Go in town to Trep and turn in 'Elemental Power Extraction' then go west to Ravandwyr and turn in 'The Archmage's Staff' accept 'Rebuilding the Staff'
24) Go in the Inn to Exarch Orelis and turn in 'Distraction at Manaforge B'naar' accept 'Measuring Warp Energies' then at Karja beside him, accept 'Assisting the Consortium' and 'Naaru Technology'
25) Just outside the Inn is Khay'ji turn in 'Assisting the Consortium' accept 'Consortium Crystal Collection'
26) Go just NE of town to the Camp of Boom at 34,60 now the trick here is that the bombs only go out so far. When you see a clear path get close to him and throw a bomb. Rinse and repeat until dead for 'Dr. Boom!' don't let any bombs hit you because they hurt
27) Go back north to the ruins of Enkaat and kill the draenei for 'Rebuilding the Staff'
28) Go back to Area 52 to the south and talk to Ravandwyr and turn in 'Rebuilding the Staff' accept 'Curse of the Violet Tower'
29) Go just outside of town in the trench again to Blastfizzle and turn in 'Dr. Boom!'
30) You should be roughly 75% to 68 now
31) Go SW to Manaforge B'naar and use your warp-attuned orb to measure the energy where the pipes go into the ground for 'Measuring Warp Energies' at the following locations and in this order: North 25,59, West 20,67, South 20,71, now after you grab the south one, go inside the building and you'll see the control console, turn in 'Naaru Technology' accept 'B'naar Console Transcription' then exit and grab the last measurement at East 28,72
32) Go east now to 41,73 which is the east entrance to the Arklon Ruins and as you enter turn right and you'll see pentatharon for 'Consortium Crystal Collection'
33) Go out east across the bridge to Town Square at 57,85 and talk to Thadell and accept 'Need More Cowbell' then beside him accept 'Indispensable Tools'
34) Up by the tower accept 'Malevolent Remnants'
35) Go to the top of the tower and use Archmage Vargoth's Staff and Vargoth will appear. Turn in 'Curse of the Violet Tower' accept 'The Sigil of Krasus'
36) When you go back down you can talk to Morran and accept 'The Unending Invasion' and from Dieworth 'A Fate Worse Than Death'
37) While out here kill severed spirits for 'Malevolent Remnants'
38) South of the tower here you should find Abjurist Belmara and she'll drop Belmara's tomb to drop which starts 'Abjurist Belmara'
39) Inside the town hall building at 60,87 you'll find Battle-Mage Dathric who drops Dathric's Blade which starts 'Battle-Mage Dathric'
40) At the Blacksmith house at 60,85 kill the apprentices for the smithing hammer for 'Indispensable Tools'
41) You will see Conjurer Luminrath walking around here, kill him for his mantle which starts 'Conjurer Luminrath'
42) You will also see Cohlien Frostweaver, a little gnome, walking the path here. Kill him for his cap which starts 'Cohlien Frostweaver'
43) Clear the path over the bridge to NE at 59,78 in the Chapel Yard you'll find Bessy in the cow pasture, turn in 'Need More Cowbell' accept 'When the Cows Come Home' now this quest says suggest players 2, and I can see why, because the cow doesn't attack. It's easily soloable if you play it smart. Stay back and let Bessy get hit first or she'll keep walking and leaving you to fail. If she gets hit she'll stop then you can kill. It will stop at Thadell, turn it in
44) Beside him turn in 'Indispensable Tools' accept 'Master Smith Rhonsus'
45) Now west of here you will see a few houses, while over here kill mageslayers and mana seekers for 'A Fate Worse Than Death' head towards them and enter the first one on your left at 56,86. You'll see a weapon rack in inside that you need to use Dathric's Blade on for 'Battle-Mage Dathric' (8 on picture)
46) Two houses up you'll see a broken house at 56,87 with a dresser, use Luminrath's Mantle on it for 'Conjurer Luminrath' (9 on picture)
47) The house 2 more up at 55,87 but at the end of the road has the footlocker in it that you need to use Cohlien's Cap in for 'Cohlien Frostweaver' (10 on picture)
48) Right in front of this house is the mana bomb fragment for 'The Unending Invasion'
49) The next house at 55,86 has the bookshelf, use Belmara's Tome on it for 'Abjurist Belmara' (12 on picture)
50) Go back up by the tower turn in 'The Unending Invasion' accept 'Potential Energy Source' and at Dieworth turn in 'A Fate Worse Than Death' and 'Malevolent Remnants' accept 'The Annals of Kirin'Var' also turn in all 4 of those item quests we did in each house for a pretty easy 50k xp from them all. 'Battle-Mage Dathric' 'Conjurer Luminrath' 'Cohlien Frostweaver' and 'Abjurist Belmara'
51) Go back SE to the town hall at 60,87 and kill the battle mage Dathric again but this time for 'The Annals of Kirin'Var' then Go east to the blacksmith house and kill Rhonsus for 'Master Smith Rhonsus'
52) Go back to the tower and turn in 'The Annals of Kirin'Var' accept 'Searching For Evidence' then go down to the barn by the tower to Andrethan and turn in 'Master Smith Rhonsus'
53) You should be 68 now or very close

WoW Lethals Pocket Guide to Efficient Leveling

[5] Tips * Request or Email *
----------------------------
This guide was created to help people understand that leveling is
a form of experience. I am making this to share my experiences
with all of you. Leveling can be done efficiently, and hassle free
if you know what you are doing. So sit back grab a cold one and
enjoy my guide. Any questions or comments email me at:
lethal.xzodus@gmail.com
==================
[1] The Basics

Leveling a new race or a faction you have no experience
with can be a little tricky; but they all have one thing in common:
Quests, yes Quests not Monsters. The time it takes to level depends
on how efficiently and how quick you finish the Quests. Here are
some tips if you just started out; the are Alliance and Horde compat:

1. Always start with the beginning quests because they are probably
chain quests that yield armour/weapons that can help you out.

2. Next, get surrounding quests that lead to the same area or near it,
its normally not a good idea to run back and forth until you complete
quests that finish in the same area anyway.

3. If you get really far away from the starting area or inn near the
area, just hearth back. Don’t do this if you know you are going back
just walk back; especially if the quests are along the way to turn in.

4. If you bag gets full of junk items and you cant get quest items
because of that, just trash the junk items; remember you want to level,
you always have time at level 60 to make money.

5. Do not group into parties or raids unless it is an instance that
requires it (or an outdoor boss like Hogger and such) because it
decreases your XP rate per-hour.

6. If you need help; ask for it on General Chat only, chances are some-
one else is probably doing that quest to or some are helping low-levels.

7. Don’t screw around; PvP Raids, Battlegrounds, Auction House.
Unless, your quest or stuff like that demand it then do so.

8. Do not work on professions, it drains your money, your time for
leveling; so unless you want to have 3-10 hours added to your leveling
time go ahead and do so. There are no required quests that demand a
profession, there are only optional ones.

9. Do not Idle, if you want to go AFK log-out to the character select
screen, so you save time when you /played in chat.
10. Lastly for the Basics, Do not do quests that require you to go to
another area far away until you’ve completed all the quests in the
surrounding area, that way it saves time and the frustration to you.
==================
[2] Advanced Techniques

There are techniques out there that the pros don’t want you
to know; I say screw them, this is an MMO not a FPS game. Heres
some advanced techniques that will blow your socks off, some are
just so simple yet have a drastic effect.

1. Ask your guild to help; its simple, you aggro, hit them once or
more, they AoE; if they are a priest have them heal you. This works
best with a massive amount of greens or yellow mobs. Elite’s work
to, just tone it down a bit or you may die.

2. Your Class/Race combo will depend on how fast you level, that’s
right ! If you choose a race that’s meant for magic, but pair it with
melee, you will find yourself having a harder time than those who chose
a Race that’s meant for Melee. Check my guide at this URL for pairing:
wow leveling pairing

3. Does your gear really matter in leveling? well check out the Myths
part of this guide to find out if that’s true or not.

4. Leveling fast means being on a lot; have a friend you really trust
that plays the game play when your not online. I have a person on Xfire
who lives in the UK who’s playing on my account when I’m offline
because of our time-zone differences; it’s night over there when its day
here. * I am not responsible if you get your account stolen, neither is
wow leveling guide nor wow leveling guide 2 *

5. Does Horde or Alliance level faster? Well, simply put; go to the
myths section to find out the answer to this age-old question.
==================
[3] Myths Exposed

Here I exposed Myths that are either misunderstood game-
facts or just simply stupid. I am here to bust them with my Hammer
of Justice (not the Flying Dildo of Wrath). Its either Busted, or Real;
theres no Plausible like MythBusters (I think they should host a WoW
edition of it though).

1. Does Horde or Alliance level faster?
Simply put; Neither, they are exactly the same. WTF? , You say?
Well, Alliance quests and Mobs are so close together (and considering
that most Alliance are nubs) people think they are accomplishing the
quests faster. That’s false and I’ll tell you why, when things are closer
together you feel more relaxed and easy-going which to the Human
brain means time seems to be passing by faster. Well, when it comes to
Horde quests, omfg, they are all spread out and you start to panic a bit,
about if you are going to finish the quest before you log off or if you
level up before you do so. This releases a chemical by the name of:
neurogenesis, which leads to stress, this makes you feel as though its
taking forever to get something done (as I’m feeling writing this), but
its exactly the same time played as both; people say this because they
are either new to the faction or are not efficient at leveling that race.
With, that said; I hear by declare this Myth; BUSTED!

2. Does gear matter when leveling ?
Well, after playing a level 60 in each class, except Paladin; I have to say
maybe. Why? because it depends on your class; if you want to level fast
as a melee player you must have decent to OK gear to do so. Theres a
level of tolerance with gear; You can’t be a level 60 using level 12 gear
because it just won’t work * amazing how you go to 60 *, but if you a
60 using 40-50 gear that totally expectable to get there. I remember I
was a level 40 using level 30 gear because I was getting my mount, or
I wanted to level fast so I could raid with my guild, and was a level 56
using a level 45 sword and level 35-48 gear. It all depends on how fast
you want to level. Because of that; this is a guide to leveling fast so;
this Myth is; BUSTED!

Have any more Myths or such that you want busted ? email it
to me at : wow leveling myths (please no spamming, thanks )
==================
[4] Hints

Here are some hints for you to get maximum performance out
of your computer and our leveling experience, have fun and post things
that you want added or email me at :wow leveling blog owner

1. Install Addons that are specific to the class you want to level, this
makes it easier for you to have a handled grip over your classes full
potential, while saving you the time of configuring your Addons with a
generic Addon.

2. For best frame-rates turn down Anti-Aliasing or turn down Texture
details; do not turn down World Detail because that decreases how far
you can see; in extreme cases set the game to Window Mode through the
Video Options.

3. Set your Talent specs for PvE, publicly called Grinding. This will
help you efficiently cut through any mobs in your way. Go to this URL:
wow leveling pve
Select your class and have fun

4. For anything class/race related go to my Class/Race pairing guide at:

WoW Lethals Alliance 1-70 Guide

Lethals Alliance 1-70 Guide
* ONLY USE IF Y
OU KNOW HOW TO PLAY WOW AKA LEVELED A 60 OR A 70 MORE THAN ONCE*
------------------------

PLEASE NOTE:

I hopefully made this point around, this is more of a 'pocket' guide that;
If your familiar with your class, and faction; you will have no trouble
understanding this, this is the original format I made for my guildies, so
its quick to read, hopefully quick to understand. I made this guide based
on my experience, plus it take skill to find a good grinding spot, sure
ANYONE can find one, but finding the right one; with less aggro than some
places, a healthy amount of mobs, and a place that you will not get
ganked (hopefully); thats what made this guide take 1 1/2 months for me
to make, because I had to find the right locations and test it constantly.
By all means if you do not want to level fast and enjoy the game do so
(you cannot pvp, level a proffesion, nor do anything, but leveling), this
guide was meant for people that play EVERYDAY, not just one day here
and one day there.

Yes, grinding is tedious, but its the most efficient way to do it, and
farming/leveling companys use that method, I'm not defending that theres
a lack of detail; I did it that way on purpose so it makes it easier to
follow, and not clouded by useless info, by where and why to go; who
needs that when you've leveled a character to 60 or 70? You know it well
enough to find these locations; to set this short, I made this guides 'lack
of info' on purpose for well-informed player to follow easily, if you want a
guide that get you to 60 or 70, but in much much more time (doing
professions, extra quests, and such along that line), go with Kopp/James
guide for Alliance. BTW I'm planning to update this to 1-70, when I have
confirmed and tested it.

=============

Obviously everyone has a different way to do it and mine is not the best,
or the most efficient way to do it. But here are a few things I did to level :

1a. For speed leveling - you should not be afraid to fight when you are in
low hp/mana. I kept pulling on my Shaman until I was down to about 10%
hp and 10% Mana.

*NEW*

4. Don't waste time doing PvP or leveling a profession, it just wastes time.

4b. Ok, please note that you MUST PLAY WOW everyday in order for this to do it, not one day here, one day there.

4c. If you are going to be out more than 1/2 a day from WoW, make sure you put your Avatar (Character) at an inn or a capital city to get rest XP.

Loch Modan (16-1Cool - come back here and do a few more quests. You
should be able to complete them quickly since you are such high level.

Darkshire (25-2Cool – quest, quest, quest - the wolf guys, the comb quest,
the Undeads in the cemetery, etc, etc 5 hrs played

STV (34-40) - let me break this one down for you

***I'll stop posting how much time it should take you so no one will get
depressed and hurt themselves but it slows down a lot from this point on,
now you really need to start buying that +dmg +ap gear***

(from this point on 40-50 should be about 4 hrs per level on average and
50-60 should be about 5-6 hrs per level)

(plus the levels specified from this point on are more strict, for example - I
wouldn't recommend going to sorrow hill before you are 50 cuz its not
efficient - same thing for Un'Goro before level 52)

Alterac Mountains (40-42) - Ogres (non elite) + humanoids (quest/grind)

Tanaris (42-45) - wasteland wanderers (grind, grind, grind) - get water
pouches and just grind. Trust me on this, you need to start grinding some
or you'll run out of quests and get stuckin between zones)

EPL (57-5Cool - lots of good quests here, just that you run into the occasional
horde party going to Strath

*NEW* * Outlands*
Hellfire Peninsula (58-60) 1.5 Hours = 1 LEVEL!
Quest, Grind; this equals uber XP.

**again, this guide shows a lot of grinding but its helpful if you stay in one
zone until you level.**

Hellfire Peninsula (60-62)
Do ALL the quests you see, most quests gives you 10k xp or more, also do instances for gear and stuff.

Zangarmarsh (62-65)
Do all the quests that there are to do, its the best way to level, groups quests can be a pain so make sure you have buddies that can help you out. on occasion do instances for quests, xp, and loot.

Terrokar Forest (65-67)
Quest, quest, quest; get a buddy to help you out with group quests. Once again do instances for quests, xp, and loot.

Nagrand (67-68 )
I'm tired of putting Quest, quest, quest, but Quest, Quest, Quest! Also once again Instances, Instances, Instances!

Blade Edge Mountain (68-70)
Quest, then work your way into Netherstorm.

Netherstorm (70) * Quest for gold, gold is quadrupled at 70 *
Again Quest

Shadowmoon Valley (70) * Quest for gold, gold is quadrupled at 70 *
Again Quest

Most of these have been confirmed to be good, but in order to prevent overcrowding in areas I will try to list several different places, all of which should be pretty decent. More often than not, the areas will only hold one or two people maximum as far as spawn rates go - any more than that and you have too many people and too little mobs to support them. Unfortunately, because of this, you might end up somewhere that isn't quite as good as you might've hoped, and if that's the case, I apologize in advance.

The levels are approximate, you may or may not have to supplement grinding for one or two levels in order to move onto the next zones early on, although most of the later parts deal mostly with areas to grind in. Also, when a level is listed next to a grind area, that means this is the level at which you can more than likely *start* grinding the mobs. You can probably *stop* grinding them about 4-5 levels past where the start level is. In fact, it's probably recommended that you do stop 4 levels past them.

Also, keep in mind that this is mostly for Alliance players, as it's the only faction I've played and thus have no experience with Horde lands. You'll also note the lack of Kalimdor lands up until Feralas/Tanaris. While I'm not saying Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains, Thousand Needles or Desolace are bad places, I honestly have no experience with them either, and these areas that I do list are typically sufficient to take you up in levels.

Please note that the level listed beside a place, if there is one, is the level recommended to *begin* the place. Each place should typically be able to last you for 4-5 levels (with the exception of quest areas), whether you have the patience to stay at that one place for that long is another thing.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed and added to the list!

Level 1-12:

- Newbie Zone :: You may have to leave at level 11.

Level 12-20:

- Westfall [Sentinel Hill, Westfall Lighthouse]
- Loch Modan [Thelsamar, Farstrider's Lodge, Stonewrought Dam]
- Darkshore [Auberdine]
- Elite Area: Mo'grosh mound (Loch Modan)
- Instance: Deadmines

Complete the easiest quests in the first area that you go to (Night Elves should visit Darkshore first, Dwarves/Gnomes should visit Loch Modan first, Humans should visit Westfall first.) Move onto the next zone, and do the same, but this time you can complete more of the zone. Leave the most difficult, unless you can get a group for them - don't waste too much time on it, though. Move onto the last zone and complete all, or nearly all of the quests available in that zone. By this time, you should be about level 17-18. Go back to the first zone, and complete the rest of the quests there.

Typically, my "first zone" is Westfall, in which case you can go back when you are done with both Loch Modan and Darkshore, and finish the Van Cleef line of quests and be at a good level to run the instance.

Level 20-22:

- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]

Again, do the easy quests in Redridge, which should take you up to level 21 or 22. Skip the more difficult quests unless you have a group for them. I'd skip the entire Stonewatch Keep area of quests just simply because that entire area itself is crap.

Level 22-30:

- Redridge Mountains [Lakeshire, Tower of Azora in Elwynn]
- Duskwood [Darkshire, Sven's Camp, Abercrombie]
- Wetlands [Menethil Harbor, Greenwarden, N. Loch Modan (The Algaz Gauntlet)]
- Ashenvale [Astranaar ?]
- Stonetalon Mountains [?]
- Elite Area: Dun Modr (Wetlands)
- Instance: The Stockades
- Instance: Shadowfang Keep
- Instance: Blackfathom Deeps
- Happy Loot: Naraxis' Fang (Duskwood)
- Happy Loot: Tiny Crimson Whelpling (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [26]: Dragonmaw Encampment (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [26]: Whelgar's Excavation Site (Wetlands)
- Grind Area [28]: Rotting Orchard (Duskwood)
- Grind Area [28]: Raven Hill Cemetary (Duskwood)
- Grind Area [29]: Vul'Gol Ogre Mound (Duskwood)

Preparation: Purchase Bronze Tube.

Start at either Duskwood or Wetlands. This is where "quest stacking" can come in really handy if you want to be efficient. There are many, many quests that send you to the same areas, and if you get all of the quests at once, you can knock all of them out without having to run back and forth. Considering Wetlands and Duskwood are fairly bad for having their towns on one side of the map and the quest mobs/areas on the other side, this saves a lot of time. A lot of these are parts of quest chains, so honestly it's hard to know if you don't have prior knowledge or do a lot of quest research beforehand - so don't worry about it too much, but try to be as efficient as you can. Once you finish one of the two new areas, you should be about level 25 and can go finish the harder parts of Redridge, and then finish the last zone.

Note for Stockades : There are 6 quests you can obtain for this instance. Lakeshire, Darkshire, Wetlands, Van Cleef note continuation (Bazil Thredd), and two from Stormwind.

Level 31-37:

- Stranglethorn Vale [Rebel Camp, Nesingwary's Expedition, Booty Bay]
- Hillsbrad Foothills [Southshore]
- Arathi Highlands [Refuge Pointe]
- Desolace [32]
- Thousand Needles [31]
- Instance: Gnomeregan
- Happy Loot: Howling Blade (Skhowl, Alterac Mountains)
- Happy Loot: Toxic Revenger (Gnomeregan)
- Happy Loot: Tiny Emerald Whelpling (Swamp of Sorrows)
- Grind Area [31]: Kurzen Encampment (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [33]: Stranglethorn Raptors (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [33]: Growless Cave (Alterac Mountains)
- Grind Area [34]: Gallow's Corner (Crushridge Ogres - Altarac Mountains)
- Grind Area [34]: Witherbark Village (Arathi Mountains)
- Grind Area [36]: Venture Co. Base Camp (Lake Nazferiti - Stranglethorn Vale)

Preparation: Purchase all 15 pages of The Green Hills of Stranglethorn, 4 Bloodstone Ore.

Start at Stranglethorn Vale. Quest stacking here is also godly, since you don't want to have to run all the way to the northern end of the zone, do one or two quests and turn them back in at Booty Bay. Rebel Camp's quests are largely independent of the rest, though, so you can do those first. Then, head to Booty Bay, where you can pick up two main quests for the northern area: Investigate the Camp and the start of the Excelsior chain, both of which takes you to Nesingwary's Expedition, where you obtain all of the nice happy quests there.

Hillsbrad is only good starting at about level 33, at which point you can actually *do* all of the quests that you could obtain at level 30... Arathi only has one or two quests that you can actually do right now, but it's listed anyways.

Kurzen Cave has been fixed, which perhaps means that Jungle Fighters and Headshrinkers have as well, so someone test that out please.

Level 37-43:

- Stranglethorn Vale [Booty Bay, Nesingwary's Expedition, Rebel Camp]
- Arathi Mountains [Refuge Pointe, Faldir's Cove]
- Badlands [Various camps around the zone]
- Desolace [37]
- Elite Area: Stromgarde
- Elite Area: Mosh'ogg Mound
- Instance: Scarlet Monastery
- Instance: Uldaman
- Instance: Razorfen Downs
- Happy Loot: Tiny Black Whelpling (Badlands)
- Grind Area [37]: Lashtail Raptors (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [37]: Water Elementals (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [39]: The spider cave north of Brackenwall (Dustwallow Marsh)
- Grind Area [39]: Rock Elementals (Badlands)
- Grind Area [39]: Elder Crag Coyotes (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Scalding Whelps (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Agmond's End (Badlands)
- Grind Area [41]: Ziata'jai Ruins (Venture Co. Stuff, Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [43]: Naga Explorers (Stranglethorn Vale)
- Grind Area [4X]: Grimtotem Compound (Feralas - Low 40s, not absolutely sure)

Preparation: Purchase 9 Blue Pearls, 1 Frost Oil, 1 Gyrochronatom, 4 Buzzard Wings, 1 Elixir of Water Breathing.

37 is where you obtain your next batch of quests from Stranglethorn Vale. Arathi Highlands has fairly decent quests in Faldir's Cove, or if you're feeling group-friendly, knock out the ones in Stromgarde. Badlands has a lot of nice quests, but you have to actually find them. This is where supplementing experience by grinding becomes more efficient at times, and at 42-43 you should be closing the last of your Stranglethorn quests, and be finished with Badlands and Arathi both, as well.

Scarlet Monastery. Black Menace or Sword of Serenity. Nothing more needs to be said - except where to obtain the quest: Desolace.

Level 43-46:

- Feralas [Feathermoon Stronghold]
- Tanaris [Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port]
- Instance: Zul'Farrak
- Grind Area [43]: Wastewander Bandits (Tanaris)
- Grind Area [44]: Isle of Dread (Feralas - Inside Cave; South of Feathermoon Stronghold)
- Grind Area [45]: Feral Scar Vale (Feralas)
- Happy Loot: 14slot bag! Cortello's Riddle quest, starts in one of the ships in Stranglethorn Vale for the end of the Bloodsail Buccaneers line of quests.

Fairly self explanatory, I guess. Not much going on here, really.

Level 46-50:

- Tanaris [Gadgetzan, Steamwheedle Port]
- The Hinterlands [Aerie Peak]
- Instance: Zul'Farrak
- Instance: Maraudon [49]
- Instance: Temple of Atal'Hakkar [50]
- Grind Area [47]: Undead in Western Ashzara (Azshara)
- Grind Area [47]: Dunemaul Compound (Tanaris)
- Grind Area [47]: Elementals/Golems around The Cauldron + N of it (Searing Gorge) - Elemental Leatherworking Supplies

At this point, you more than likely have a bunch of quests saved up for The Hinterlands - including but not limited to, the quest to gather Wildkin Feathers (from Rutheran Village), the quest to obtain a snapshot of Gammerita, the quest to obtain Violet Trajan, the last part of Cortello's Riddle, etc. Feel free to knock them all out at once.

Level 50-55:

- Searing Gorge [Kalaran Windblade]
- Blasted Lands [Blood Elf camp]
- Un'Goro Crater [Marshal's Refuge]
- Felwood [Emerald Sanctuary]
- Burning Steppes [Morgan's Vigil]
- Instance: Temple of Atal'Hakkar
- Grind Area [50]: Deadwood Village (Felwood)
- Grind Area [51]: Ruins of Eldarath (Azshara)
- Grind Area [52]: Dreadmaul Rock (Firegut Ogres - Burning Steppes)
- Grind Area [52]: Legash Encampment, Thalassian Base Camp, Ursolan (Azshara)
- Grind Area [52]: Jaedenar (Felwood)
- Grind Area [52]: Sorrow Hill (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [53]: Ironwood Trees in northern Felwood
- Grind Area [54]: Temple of Arkkoran (Azshara)
- Grind Area [55]: Jadefire Run, Felpaw Village (Felwood)

The quests in Blasted Lands all stack on top of each other. Five in total, one for each stat; they give 4700 experience per turn-in, along with always the chance of obtaining a Draenethyst Sphere for Kumi'sha the Collector with every mob you kill. Un'Goro Crater has the biggest collection of quests out of all of these zones.

Level 55-60:

- Winterspring [Everlook, Starfall Village]
- Western Plaguelands [Chillwind Point]
- Eastern Plaguelands [Light's Hope Chapel]
- Instance: Blackrock Depths
- Instance: Blackrock Spire [60]
- Instance: Stratholme [60]
- Instance: Scholomance [60]
- Grind Area [55]: Felstone Field, Dalson's Tears, The Writhing Haunt, Gahrron's Withering (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: Northridge Lumber Camp (Western Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: Corin's Crossing (Eastern Plaguelands)
- Grind Area [56]: The Pillar of Ash (Burning Steppes)
- Grind Area [56]: Winterfall Village (Winterspring)
- Grind Area [57]: Blackrock Stronghold (Burning Steppes) [NOTE]
- Grind Area [57]: Ice Thistle Hills (Wintespring) - Rugged Leathers

Notes: Blackrock Stronghold is probably the best place to grind for a rogue; however, you do have to get used to how the roamers work. You'll probably die a few times along the way while learning them. Also, this might likely be another area where they're increasing the armor on the mobs, but two of the four kinds of orcs that spawn are casters, anyway. Ice Thistle Hills is not the best place to grind for experience, but it's probably one of the better places to get a nice quiet grind going and also leave with a few backpacks full of Rugged Leather.

Okay -- So this isn't really a "complete" grind area list, because honestly, you only have to sit down and grind at one or two places for a few levels before you can move onto the next tier of zones, and that's typically what I did. Just sit down and grind at one place, don't move around everywhere and you'll be out of there in a few hours or days. I've tried my best to list the best quest areas and zones as well for those that would rather try to quest and not grind their way through the game, too, but that's also somewhat incomplete, especially at later stages since I don't have much knowledge of the various new quests they implemented in Winterspring and the Plaguelands.

Anyway, hope it helps to answer some of the "where can I go at level X?" questions.

The promised Horde section.

Implemented from various posts by Horde players that have contributed. Some of these spots were also taken from Ratama of Nurfed.

14-16: Pirates south of Ratchet (Barrens)
16-19: Various wildlife, especially cats, in Barrens. Note that if you're using a dagger crit build, then exp for this is insane.
19-22: Bramblescar (Barrens) on lizards and quillboars. Unless you're doing leatherworking, just leave the lizards alone.
22-24: Tarren Mill (Hillsbrad) on bears and spiders. Dagger crit chain heaven.
24-26: Across the road from Tarren Mill on tougher bears and cats. Dagger crit chain heaven.
26-28: Spiders/Bears in back of Syndicate tower (Hillsbrad)
28-30: Cats and Spiders around Nethander Stead (Hillsbrad)
30-32: Harpies inside cave (Thousand Needles)

NE of Brackenwall (2 min run there)- Raptor den
36-37 raptors there - lots of them

40-42 Skeletons in Desolace. They're about the only squishies I could find to grind on. It's part of an Alliance quest, so the usual PvP warnings apply.

42-45 Jungle Stalkers in SV. The loot drop isn't nearly as good as the Lashtails, but they're as squishy as ever. Also, they don't seem to have the knockdown attack that the lashtails do. Virtually no one kills these guys on my server, and they're easily chainable.

WoW Re-useable enchanted items for powerleveling

I checked the guides up to page 5 and searched for 'white item'; nothing came up so hopefully this isn't a re:

Anyways I make a lot of low bie chars. Now Lowbie chars are exceptionally simple to powerlevel, obviously. However time is time and being the efficiency freak that I am I find it exceedingly useful to cut that time down as much as possible. Particularly since I love getting to 19 for bg pwnage.

That aside, I found that you can make a set of enchanted 'twink' powerleveling items for your ultra-lowbie chars to ensure maximum efficiency when grinding/powerleveling. Since I mostly stick with melee chars (pally/warrior) I only did mail but it does apply to all classes in the same respect.

The basic theory is that white items are comparable to greens of the same level in terms of raw armor/dps/etc without the bonuses to stamina or what not. At ultra low levels (generally below level ten) you find most of the greens are .. marginal .. at best. Enchanting them simply makes no sense since you will ultimately destroy/sell/de them later.

However if you take a white (not a Grey, that's substandard) item you will say it is NOT soulbound. This means you can take an item with basically the same base stats (again, ac/dps/etc) and enchant it with a mid-high level enchant. Then at that point you can take said item and use it to speed up your leveling.

There are several attractive benefits to this:
A) Speedwalk shoes. I always build a set of cloth shoes (wearable by any class) with the 'minor speed' enchant for +8% move speed. That's 8% less time you spend running around the world, so 8% more time which can be spent to leveling. I also use it in big for swapping between this and my 'battle set' of stamina enchanted gear for more versatility.
When you finally get a char either a mount or a speed increase through skills (ghostwolf/cheetah/etc) then you can mail this to your next lowbie. Saves you about 7 gold per char.

B) At low levels stamina is ridiculously important. I found that simply enchanting a pair of boots with +5 stam and bracer with +5 stam nearly DOUBLED my hp until about level 8 or 9. This made it considerably easier to powerlevel that char on a near non-stop basis. And that wasn't even when I had my REALLY good set of stam gear!

C) Reduced trips to the auction house. Now you can just slap on a set of gear from 1-15 and gun through the levels. You can do it on higher level whites too but realistically it's less beneficial since the greens/blues are of better value.

D) Savings in money. Obviously it makes little sense to enchant every pair of items you get, but having one set you can use for every character you make on a server's faction is extremely beneficial.

This is pretty much it. It's especially useful for cloaks (+70 armor makes it have extremely good longevity) and bracer/gloves/feet.

Happy hunting!
